# Rules pages

> Prop firm rules pages explain each rule on its own page in plain words, with a worked example computed from the firm's real account sizes, and a table showing which rules apply to which plan and stage. They cut disputes and support tickets and rank for the rule names traders search. Every PipValley plan includes them.

Most breaches that turn into disputes start with a rule that could be read two ways. A trailing drawdown described in one sentence, a consistency rule with no example, a news rule that does not say which news. We write every rule from your terms, then show it working on a real number.

## How it works

- Each rule gets its own page and URL, with a one-sentence definition first.
- Worked examples are computed from your plan data, so a trailing-drawdown example, for instance, changes with the plan the trader picked.
- A plan applicability table shows which rules apply in evaluation, verification and the simulated funded stage.
- Rules link to the FAQ answers and glossary terms that explain them further.

## Why traders care

Traders fail evaluations on rules they misunderstood. A rule with a worked example tells them exactly where the line is, and that the firm will apply it the way it is written.

## Why founders care

Clear rules mean fewer disputes, fewer chargebacks and fewer support tickets, and every rule page is a search result for that rule's name. The firms our team operates structure their rules this way.

## Compliance note

Rules pages state that accounts are simulated, and every example is labeled as an illustration. The rule text must match your terms exactly; your terms win if they ever differ.

## Questions

### Should rules live in a PDF?

No. A PDF cannot be searched well, linked to a single rule or read comfortably on a phone. Rules as web pages can be linked from the pricing table, quoted by AI assistants and kept current.

### How do you explain trailing drawdown?

With a worked example on your own account size and a small chart showing where the floor sits as the balance moves, and whether it stops trailing. Static and end-of-day versions are shown on the same line for comparison.

### Who writes the rules copy?

We draft every rule from your terms in plain US English, and you confirm each one. Where your terms are ambiguous, we flag it so you can decide before traders find it.
