Google's thresholds for a good experience are LCP of 2.5 seconds or less, INP of 200 milliseconds or less and CLS of 0.1 or less, each measured at the 75th percentile of real visits. INP replaced First Input Delay as a Core Web Vital in March 2024.

On prop firm sites, the usual problems are heavy hero videos and animations delaying LCP, live widgets and chat scripts hurting INP, and late-loading banners, cookie bars and review widgets shifting layout.

Field data comes from the Chrome UX Report and appears in Search Console and PageSpeed Insights once a site has enough traffic; lab tools only approximate it.

## Why it matters

Most traders browse prop firms on phones, often on mid-range devices. A slow pricing table loses buyers before it loses rankings. Treat Core Web Vitals as a conversion issue: budget scripts, compress media, and measure field data rather than desktop lab scores.
