# What is Landing page?

> A landing page is a page built for one traffic source and one action, such as an affiliate's audience or a single program, rather than for general browsing.

In a prop firm, landing pages are used for affiliate and creator campaigns, specific programs such as instant funding or futures, competitions and seasonal offers. Each one keeps the visitor focused on the program, its rules and the checkout.

A good landing page repeats the essentials from the pricing table for that one program, carries the same disclosures as the main site, and tracks its source through to purchase.

Landing pages must not make claims the main site would not make. Campaign pages are where income claims and urgency tactics tend to creep in.

## Why it matters

Dedicated pages for each major channel let you measure what each partner and campaign actually produces, and usually convert better than sending traffic to a generic home page. Build them from the same rule and price data as the main site so they cannot go out of date.
