# How DXtrade Integrates With Prop Firm Risk Rules

> DXtrade enforces most prop firm risk rules inside the platform: Devexperts lists real-time trailing, end-of-day trailing and static max drawdown, max daily loss, profit targets, position limits and automatic liquidation, with end-of-session closing for futures. Rules are set per plan and breaches can move an account to a set status. Consistency rules, payouts and KYC usually live in your CRM, so check each rule in a demo.

**Short answer:** DXtrade enforces most prop firm risk rules inside the platform: Devexperts lists real-time trailing, end-of-day trailing and static max drawdown, max daily loss, profit targets, position limits and automatic liquidation, with end-of-session closing for futures. Rules are set per plan and breaches can move an account to a set status. Consistency rules, payouts and KYC usually live in your CRM, so check each rule in a demo.

A prop firm's rules only work if the platform enforces them exactly as the website describes them. Founders choosing DXtrade, Devexperts' white-label platform, ask how its risk settings map to a typical evaluation: profit target, daily loss, maximum drawdown, minimum days, and the extra rules on news, weekends and consistency. This guide maps them, from Devexperts' published pages checked on 12 October 2026. Our [DXtrade platform overview](/guides/dxtrade-for-prop-firms) covers pricing, markets and TradingView; the [DXtrade vendor profile](/tech/dxtrade) lists what is published about the company.

> Feature descriptions below are Devexperts' own published claims, quoted where possible. Confirm each rule in a demo account and in your contract before you publish it on your website.

## Which risk rules does DXtrade enforce itself?

Devexperts' prop trading page lists, for stocks and futures, "max drawdown (EOD trailing, real-time trailing, or static)", max daily loss, position limits and auto-liquidation. For CFD evaluations it lists "max drawdown, profit targets, auto-liquidation, and swap settings". Its options page names the three drawdown modes in the terms traders use: "Real-time trailing max drawdown (also known as intraday trailing drawdown or live trailing drawdown)", "Daily trailing max drawdown (also known as end-of-day trailing drawdown)" and "Static max drawdown (also known as fixed drawdown or absolute drawdown)".

The futures page adds "Set the maximum trailing drawdown, the minimum amount of trading days, and the allowed number of open positions" and "Configure automatic liquidation of open positions at the end of a trading session". On breaches, the options page says the platform can "trigger alerts and automated actions when predefined exposure or loss limits are breached", and that it can liquidate positions held past the end of the day "and move the account to a designated status".

**Typical prop firm rules mapped to DXtrade's published features (Devexperts pages, checked 12 October 2026)**

| Rule | Where DXtrade says it handles it | Who usually owns it |
|---|---|---|
| Maximum drawdown (static, EOD trailing, intraday trailing) | Prop trading, options and futures pages | Platform |
| Daily loss limit | Prop trading page (max daily loss) | Platform |
| Profit target | CFD prop risk controls | Platform, with pass status passed to CRM |
| Minimum trading days | Futures prop page | Platform or CRM; confirm in demo |
| Position and contract limits | Prop trading and futures pages | Platform |
| End-of-session or weekend flat rule | Futures and options pages (auto-liquidation at session end) | Platform |
| Consistency rule | Not named on the pages we read | CRM or back office |
| News trading rule | Not named on the pages we read | CRM review or manual |
| Payout eligibility, KYC, profit split | Not platform features | CRM, KYC vendor, payments |

## What does DXtrade leave to the CRM?

Everything that is not a trading limit. The platform holds the account and enforces trading rules; your prop CRM sells the evaluation, creates the account on the right plan, receives pass and breach events, checks rules that need trade history (such as consistency or news windows), runs KYC and pays out. Devexperts says its turnkey futures bundle includes "a trading platform, hosting, and CRM integration", and the platform links to "APIs necessary for integrating DXtrade with your systems"; we found no public webhook documentation, so ask for the event list in writing.

This split is the source of most disputes we see. If the website promises a consistency rule the CRM does not check, or describes an end-of-day drawdown while the platform is set to intraday trailing, every breach becomes a support ticket. Our [prop firm CRM guide](/guides/prop-firm-crm) lists back offices and what they connect to; the [risk management guide](/guides/prop-firm-risk-management) covers rule design.

- Account creation: CRM calls DXtrade with the plan, which sets the risk template.
- Pass and breach: platform status change, read by the CRM, which emails the trader and updates the dashboard.
- History-based rules: CRM or back office analyses trades after the fact.
- Payouts: CRM checks eligibility, KYC vendor verifies identity, payout provider pays.

## How do the drawdown modes differ in practice?

The three modes give very different outcomes on the same trades, which is why your rules page must say which one each plan uses. Static drawdown never moves. End-of-day trailing moves up with the closing balance once a day. Intraday trailing moves with every new equity high, including unrealised profit, so a trader can breach after giving back open gains. Our [drawdown rule visualiser](/tools/drawdown-rule-visualiser) shows all three on one equity curve, and the glossary explains [trailing drawdown](/glossary/trailing-drawdown) and [end-of-day drawdown](/glossary/end-of-day-drawdown).

Futures firms commonly use trailing modes and flat-by-session-end rules; CFD firms more often use static or balance-based limits. DXtrade supports both styles according to its pages, so the decision is yours, not the vendor's. Devexperts told Finance Magnates in August 2024 that it had onboarded over 40 prop firms in a year and had built "a futures-specific version of our prop trading platform", with configurable position limits and session-end liquidation.

## Can traders use the DXtrade mobile app for prop trading?

Yes, where the firm offers it. Devexperts sells branded mobile apps as part of its prop offering: the prop page says "Showcase your own branded mobile apps", and the futures page offers "your own branded iOS and Android mobile trading apps". Finance Magnates reported in March 2025 that a DXtrade mobile update, available on iOS and Android, added a redesigned home screen with portfolio metrics. The rules apply on mobile because they are enforced on the server, not in the app.

For your website that means one more page to keep current: download links for each app, a note on which features differ from web, and the same rule wording everywhere.

## Which crypto prop firms use DXtrade?

Tradeify Crypto is the clearest public example. Devexperts announced on 21 April 2026 that Tradeify Crypto is "now powered by DXtrade across web, desktop, and mobile", with risk tools including maximum drawdown and profit target settings and rule-adherence monitoring, up to 5:1 leverage on BTC and ETH evaluation accounts, and simulated accounts from USD 5,000 to USD 100,000. We do not list other firms unless they have said so publicly. Our [crypto launch page](/start-a-prop-firm/crypto) and [crypto prop firm platforms](/guides/crypto-prop-firm-platforms) compare the alternatives.

## What should you test before launch?

Run every rule in a demo with deliberate breaches, and record the result next to the wording on your rules page. Then generate the website rules from the same configuration, so the two cannot drift.

- Breach each drawdown mode with open profit and without, and note when the status changes.
- Hold a position across the session close on a futures plan and confirm the liquidation time.
- Hit the daily loss limit with an open position and confirm whether the reset time is server time or your stated time zone.
- Pass a phase and confirm the CRM receives the event and creates the next account.
- Check how the mobile app shows rule status to the trader.
- Ask Devexperts or your reseller for written answers on any rule not named on its pages.

## What does this mean for your website?

Traders compare rules pages line by line, and processors read them before approving you. Publish the drawdown mode per plan with a worked example, state the daily-loss reset time, and date every change. PipValley builds [rules pages](/features/rules-pages) driven from the same rule data your platform uses, on a $1,490 Launch build or above; the [futures launch page](/start-a-prop-firm/futures) shows where DXtrade fits among futures platforms.

> This guide explains how things generally work and what we have seen running prop firms. It isn't legal, tax or financial advice, and it doesn't create a lawyer–client relationship. Rules differ by country and change often, so speak to a qualified lawyer (and a tax adviser) in the jurisdiction concerned before you act.

## Questions

### Does DXtrade support trailing drawdown for prop firms?

Yes, according to Devexperts. Its pages list real-time (intraday) trailing, end-of-day trailing and static maximum drawdown, configurable per plan. Confirm in a demo which value the trailing level follows, because intraday modes typically include unrealised profit.

### Can DXtrade automatically close positions at the end of the session?

Devexperts says futures and options prop accounts can be configured to liquidate open positions at the end of a trading session and move the account to a designated status. State the exact time on your rules page.

### Does DXtrade enforce consistency rules?

We did not find a consistency rule named on Devexperts' prop pages as of 12 October 2026. Most firms check consistency in their CRM or back office using trade history. Ask your vendor before you publish one.

### Can you use the DXtrade mobile app for prop trading?

Yes, if your prop firm offers it. Devexperts sells branded iOS and Android apps with its prop technology, and risk rules are enforced on the server, so they apply on mobile too.

### How does DXtrade connect to a prop firm CRM?

Through Devexperts' APIs; its futures bundle includes CRM integration, and some back offices integrate already. Ask for the list of account events (created, passed, breached) and how your CRM receives them.
