**Short answer:** NinjaTrader Prop and Tradovate Prop are prop-trading versions of NinjaTrader's platforms, launched by NT Technologies on October 1, 2025 for evaluations through funding, with risk controls, TradingView integration and mobile, web and desktop access. Take Profit Trader, Apex Trader Funding and MyFundedFutures were named at launch. Kraken completed its roughly $1.5 billion purchase of NinjaTrader in 2025. Access is by commercial agreement; pricing is quote only.

NinjaTrader is the most common futures platform at prop firms. In PropFirmPal's September 2026 data for 245 firms (a comparison site we own), NinjaTrader appeared at 22 firms and Tradovate, also part of the NinjaTrader group, at 21. "NinjaTrader prop" is searched mostly by traders; this guide is for the firm deciding whether and how to offer it.

## What are NinjaTrader Prop and Tradovate Prop?

NinjaTrader Prop and Tradovate Prop are platform experiences built for prop traders and prop firms. NinjaTrader Group announced them on October 1, 2025 under its NT Technologies entity, describing them as covering every stage "from evaluations to funding". The announcement lists advanced risk controls, integration with third-party platforms such as TradingView, charting and order-flow tools, and trading from mobile, web or desktop.

NinjaTrader Group's CEO said "NT Technologies meets prop traders and prop firms where they are". The launch named three firms already offering the platforms: Take Profit Trader, Apex Trader Funding and MyFundedFutures.

## Why does ownership matter to an operator?

Ownership matters because a platform owner's strategy decides your access. Kraken completed its roughly $1.5 billion acquisition of NinjaTrader in 2025, according to Finance Magnates, and Kraken also bought the crypto prop firm Breakout in September 2025. We don't speculate about plans; we note that your platform vendor is now part of a group that also runs its own prop business, and that ProjectX ended third-party prop support in February 2026 after its owner's strategy changed. Ask about continuity in writing.

## NinjaTrader Prop or Tradovate Prop?

Offer the one your audience already uses, and both if you can. NinjaTrader is a desktop-first platform with a long history among discretionary and automated futures traders; Tradovate grew as a cloud platform used from the browser and phone. NT Technologies' announcement presents both as prop products with risk controls and TradingView integration, so the choice is mostly about trader habit, not capability.

Ask your affiliates and community which they trade on now. If they split, offering both under one agreement is usually simpler than adding a second vendor later. If they lean towards order-flow tools such as Quantower, ATAS or Bookmap, look at a Rithmic route as well; our comparison of Rithmic, Tradovate and Volumetrica covers that decision.

## How does a firm get access?

A firm gets access through a commercial agreement with NT Technologies, directly or through a prop back-office vendor that has integrated it. PropTechPal's directory of 25 prop-tech vendors (a site we own) lists NinjaTrader support at 4 vendors and Tradovate at 5, so check that your chosen back office supports it before you sign either contract.

- What is the per-account platform fee, and is exchange data included or billed separately?
- Which risk rules (trailing drawdown type, contract limits, session flattening) are enforced natively?
- Is TradingView trading included for my traders, and on what terms?
- What notice will NT Technologies give if it changes its prop-firm policy?
- How are trader accounts and history exported if we move?

## What does NinjaTrader mean for your website?

- Separate pages for NinjaTrader Prop and Tradovate Prop: they are different products with different install and login steps.
- Connection guides with screenshots, plus a TradingView section if your agreement includes it.
- Data fees: who pays CME data and how, in one short section linked from pricing.
- Checkout hand-off: platform choice captured at purchase and passed to the back office so credentials arrive for the right product.
- Trademark care: name the platforms accurately and avoid implying endorsement by NinjaTrader.
- Platform-change notice: keep a dated notice template ready, so if access terms change you can update the platform page, FAQs and checkout the same day.
- Disclosures: simulated accounts and, if you serve US traders, the hypothetical-performance legend your lawyer advises.

> PipValley builds futures prop sites with a page per platform and connection guides traders actually use. Launch is $1,490 for the build, then $49.99 a month for care.

Questions about whether your product structure needs registration in the US belong with a US lawyer, not a platform vendor.
