**Short answer:** A prop firm white label costs from about $2,750 in setup with no monthly fee (plus a large profit share) to $2,500–$4,000 a month for a fixed licence, as published in October 2026. PropSuite lists $2,749 setup and a 50–70% founder share of net revenue; Match-Trader lists a white label from $2,500 a month; TradeLocker Starter is $3,000 a month for 500 active accounts. Who pays traders changes the real cost most.

The white-label line is usually the first big number in a prop firm budget, and the hardest to compare, because vendors price it in completely different shapes. One quotes a setup fee and half your profit. Another quotes a monthly licence. A third bills per trader who actually trades. This guide puts the published prices side by side and shows how to turn each one into a monthly cost you can compare.

Every price below is as published by the vendor or listing when we checked on 12 October 2026. Where a vendor does not publish prices we say "quote only" and do not guess. For the full launch budget, including legal, payments and marketing, see our hub guide on what it costs to start a prop firm.

> Disclosure: we launch prop firms with a technology partner and may earn a referral fee if you launch through us. It uses a setup-plus-profit-share model and is not named or ranked here. This guide explains how costs generally work. It is not legal, tax or financial advice. Rules and prices change often, so get written quotes and speak to a qualified professional in your jurisdiction before you commit money.

## What do white-label providers publish?

Only a handful of prop technology vendors publish prices at all. The table lists the published figures we could verify, with the page date where the vendor gives one.

**Published prop firm white-label prices (as published, checked 12 October 2026)**

| Provider | Model | Published price | Who pays traders |
|---|---|---|---|
| PropSuite (propsuite.com) | Setup plus profit share | $2,749 one-time setup; $0 monthly; founder keeps 50% of net revenue (up to 70% at $300k+ a month), floored at zero; $5 per account; 5% of revenue | Provider ("from our capital, not yours") |
| Match-Trader | Fixed monthly licence | White label from $2,500/month; platform and prop CRM from $4,000/month; server licence from $5,000/month (article dated Nov 8, 2024; "new pricing available upon request") | You |
| TradeLocker | Per active account | Starter $3,000/month for up to 500 active accounts; custom above; no setup fees; competition accounts from $290/month for 500 accounts | You |
| cTrader (Spotware) | White label via package or reseller | Quote only | You |
| DXtrade (Devexperts) | Licence | Quote only; aggregator notes no public rate card | You |
| Most other prop tech vendors | Enterprise or partner deal | Quote only | Varies |

## How do you compare a profit share with a monthly fee?

Convert everything to an expected monthly cost at three sales levels. A fixed licence costs the same in a quiet month and a busy one. A profit share costs nothing when you lose money and a lot when you do well. A per-account plan sits between them.

The worked example below is an illustration, not data from any firm. It assumes $40,000 of challenge sales in a month and $16,000 of net profit after payouts and other costs, and applies each published price exactly as listed.

- The profit-share model looks expensive in a good month because it is also insurance: in this model the provider pays traders. In a bad month for the firm, your share of a loss is floored at zero.
- The fixed models look cheap only if you can fund payouts yourself. Add a payout reserve before you compare; see our payout reserve guide.
- The 400-sale figure assumes a $100 average ticket. Change it to your own price list.

**Illustrative monthly technology cost at $40,000 sales and $16,000 net profit (estimate; method: published prices applied to assumed figures)**

| Model | Calculation | Technology cost that month | Payout risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| Setup plus profit share (PropSuite terms) | 50% x $16,000 + 5% x $40,000 + $5 x 400 accounts | $12,000, plus setup once | Provider |
| Fixed licence (Match-Trader white label) | Published floor | From $2,500 | You |
| Turnkey platform plus CRM (Match-Trader) | Published floor | From $4,000 | You |
| Per active account (TradeLocker Starter) | Up to 500 active accounts | $3,000 | You |

## What sits outside the white-label fee?

A white-label fee rarely covers the whole stack. Before you sign, list every line the provider does not include and price it separately. These are the lines founders most often find later.

- Payment processing: high-risk card processing and crypto gateways bill per transaction, and card processors often hold a rolling reserve.
- Identity checks: some providers pass through a per-check fee for KYC at payout. Veriff and Sumsub publish per-check prices from $0.80 and $1.35.
- Website: some providers bundle a template site; a site you own is a separate line.
- Affiliate tracking, support desk and email tools if they are not in the CRM.
- Futures market data: futures evaluations carry exchange data costs that CFD firms do not see.
- Legal documents written for your firm, not copied from the provider's demo.

## What hidden terms change the price?

The headline number is only the start of the contract. These terms move the real cost more than a few hundred dollars of monthly fee.

- Payout caps on provider-funded models: what happens when payouts in a month exceed the provider's limit?
- Minimums: TradeLocker's glossary notes a minimum fee applies below 500 accounts in a billing month; ask what it is in writing.
- Data export: can you take traders, orders and payout history with you if you leave?
- Platform risk: MetaQuotes withdrew prop firm access in February 2024, ProjectX ended third-party service after February 28, 2026, and Spotware restricted US prop onboarding on cTrader from July 1, 2026. Ask each vendor what it does if a platform withdraws.
- Notice period and what happens to active challenges if you switch.

## Which model suits which founder?

A profit-share white label suits a founder with an audience but little capital, because the provider carries payout risk and the cash needed at launch is small. A fixed licence suits a founder with capital and expected volume, because every extra sale is margin you keep. A per-account plan suits a firm that expects many sign-ups but fewer accounts trading in any given month.

FXStreet summarized the trade-off in September 2026: in provider-funded models the operator has "no exposure to how traders perform", while in revenue-sharing models the operator shares payout risk but earns more. Whichever you choose, budget the rest of the launch around it using the hub guide on startup costs.

## Questions

### How much does a prop firm white label cost per month?

A prop firm white label costs $0 a month on profit-share models and from $2,500–$4,000 a month on fixed licences, as published in October 2026. Match-Trader lists a white label from $2,500 a month and TradeLocker Starter is $3,000 a month for up to 500 active accounts.

### Is a profit-share white label cheaper?

A profit-share white label is cheaper to start and often more expensive in good months. PropSuite lists $2,749 setup plus a 50–70% founder share of net revenue, so its cost rises with your success, but the provider pays traders and absorbs bad months under its rules.

### Do white-label providers charge setup fees?

Some do and some do not. PropSuite lists a $2,749 one-time setup; TradeLocker says it has no setup fees. Ask every provider for a written list of one-off, monthly and per-sale charges.

### Does the white-label fee include payments and KYC?

Often not, or only partly. Card processing, crypto gateways and identity checks are usually billed per transaction, sometimes passed through by the provider. Price them as separate lines before you compare providers.
