cTrader White Label for Prop Firms (and the US Change)

How prop firms license cTrader through Spotware and resellers, what the 2026 US onboarding restriction means, and how to handle it on your website.

cTrader is Spotware's trading platform, and after MetaQuotes' February 2024 action it became one of the main homes for forex and CFD prop firms. In 2026 it also became the second platform to narrow prop access for US traders. This guide covers how prop firms license cTrader, what changed, and what that means for your website, written for operators.

How do prop firms get cTrader?

Prop firms get cTrader either through a direct technology agreement with Spotware or through a reseller that packages cTrader with a prop back office. Spotware and the trade press describe both routes.

Spotware signed a technology agreement with the UK firm OneFunded, under which traders use cTrader's execution infrastructure while the firm runs evaluations through Spotware's administrative back end, according to Finance Magnates. Spotware has also named resellers: B2BROKER's cTrader White Label prop product bundles cTrader infrastructure with a B2PROP client cabinet, a liquidity or data feed, crypto processing and payment integrations, and Voyage Markets became a cTrader White Label Prop reseller with its own risk tools. Pricing is quote only on both routes as of October 2026.

  • PropTechPal's directory of 25 prop-tech vendors (a site we own) lists cTrader support at 21 vendors, level with MT5 and Match-Trader.
  • In PropFirmPal's September 2026 data for 245 firms (also ours), cTrader appeared at 30 firms, second only to MT5.

What changed for US traders in 2026?

Spotware restricted the onboarding of US-based traders on cTrader through prop firms in 2026. Finance Magnates reported on July 1, 2026 that US retail prop firms had stopped offering new cTrader accounts to US clients, and quoted Spotware: "Following an internal regulatory assessment during the first quarter of 2026, we made the strategic decision to restrict the onboarding of US-based traders on the platform."

Firms had already been adjusting. Per the same report, one large firm's policy said that from March 31, 2026 US-based traders could no longer buy new cTrader accounts and directed them to Match-Trader; another restricted cTrader to non-US clients in June; a third amended its terms in April and named Match-Trader, TradeLocker and Volumetrica as its US platforms. The report did not say whether existing US traders keep access, so check your own agreement.

Is cTrader still a good choice?

cTrader is still a strong choice for a firm whose traders are outside the US. Spotware licenses it directly, publishes prop partnerships, and many traders know it. The questions are about concentration: if a large share of your demand is American, cTrader can't be your only platform, and your checkout must route US traders elsewhere.

What does cTrader mean for your website?

cTrader's US restriction is a website problem as much as a platform one, because traders see the restriction first at checkout.

  • Per-platform country rules: your restricted-countries page should list countries per platform, not just per firm, and state the date each rule took effect.
  • Checkout hand-off: detect or ask for country before the platform choice, hide cTrader for US residents, and pass the platform to the back office so credentials come from the right server.
  • Platform page: one cTrader page with download links, cTrader-specific rules (for example cBots and automated trading) and the US notice in the first paragraph.
  • FAQ: "Can US traders use cTrader?" with a dated, one-sentence answer, so AI assistants quote the current position.
  • Disclosures: simulated accounts, third-party platform, and that availability can change by country.

What should you ask before signing?

  • Is the agreement directly with Spotware or through a reseller, and can I see that the reseller is authorised?
  • Which countries are blocked for prop accounts today, and how will you notify me of changes?
  • What happens to existing traders in a country if onboarding is restricted?
  • Can my back office run a second platform alongside cTrader from day one?
  • What is the full monthly cost, including feed and support, at my expected account count?

Questions

Can US traders use cTrader at prop firms?

New US traders generally can't open cTrader prop accounts. Spotware restricted onboarding of US-based traders through prop firms after an internal regulatory assessment in early 2026, reported on July 1, 2026; firms moved US traders to platforms such as Match-Trader, TradeLocker and Volumetrica.

How much does a cTrader white label cost for a prop firm?

cTrader prop pricing is quote only as of October 2026, whether you contract with Spotware directly or through a reseller such as B2BROKER or Voyage Markets. Ask for the full monthly cost including feed and support.

What prop firms use cTrader?

Many forex and CFD prop firms list cTrader; it appeared at 30 of 245 firms in PropFirmPal's September 2026 data. Check each firm's own platform page for current availability, especially for US traders.
