Instant funding

What it means
In a prop firm, instant funding replaces the profit-target test with tighter ongoing rules. Typical trade-offs include a higher price relative to account size, a smaller starting allocation, a lower profit split at first, tighter drawdowns, consistency rules on payouts, and caps on how much can be withdrawn per cycle.
Because there is no evaluation filter, every buyer is immediately a potential payout claimant. That makes the product sensitive to pricing mistakes and to coordinated abuse, so risk monitoring and payout rules carry more weight than in an evaluation program.
Instant funding accounts are almost always simulated. The phrase can sound like the trader receives real capital on day one, so the product page needs to say clearly that it is a simulated funded account and how performance rewards are calculated.
